Our team

Blue Sage CFO is Dan and Tim Larkin who share a common belief that financial leadership should augment and support operations and sales, bringing the data and understanding to strengthen all team strategies, rather than dictating a particular course.  We look at your business through the eyes of an owner with the solid understanding of financial tools to help form solutions to the everyday challenges of business.

DAN LARKIN, CPA

Dan was in public accounting for eight years, and in private accounting as a CFO for four. He is a licensed CPA in the State of Oregon. After many years in public accounting, he found he much prefers to be intimately involved in the strategy and successful operations of businesses as opposed to just being the tax or project advisor that a public accounting practice is.  He has successfully helped guide the growth of companies in a variety of industries including manufacturing, agriculture, retail sales operations, software and construction.

TIM LARKIN

Tim’s experience includes over 40 years of operational and financial leadership in both ownership and executive roles. During that time he has known the invigoration of watching successful strategies unfold, and heartache over the results of mistaken assumptions and planning; reinforcing first hand the importance of a disciplined, strategic approach as well as the vigorous, objective review of chosen strategies. His professional motivation is to bring this experience to others seeking to successfully grow their business.  His career includes healthcare, transportation, professional services, and online retail.
